Mainstream Media is a global news network involved in the origination, collation, and distribution of news content to a network of sites developed in 1999. All with the extension News.Net, the network covers each major global region, country, international city, U.S. city, U.S. state and industry sector. Mainstream and the News.Net directory of sites is part of Big News Network, a news agency that originates its own content, distributes stories under license from news wires, and spiders and aggregates news from several thousand external sources. Big News Network provides much (but not all) of the content to Mainstream Media's network of sites.
